Its share in the total volume of oil transportation is approximately 13 percent. Inside our country, marine transportation of petroleum products is used in the Black, Caspian, Azov, Okhotsk, Japan and Baltic Seas. The main advantage of maritime transport is the low cost of delivery, which is provided by the use of large vessels during transportation over long distances.

If the tanker is not degassed, it is prohibited to use steel mooring ropes on the cargo deck. Crew members involved in cargo operations and working in the cargo deck area should not carry matches and lighters.
